Darling Properties Ltd was established in 2002 by two brothers, Leigh Peters and Simon Peters, who decided to combine their joint business experience to set up a property investment company. The first purchase was made at the inaugural auction of Barnett Ross on 21st November 2002 and the portfolio has grown via regular acquisitions. The companies strategy is to acquire high yielding retail property investments, in town and city centres, whereby active asset management, could potentially add additional value. The business has grown organically and also via the use of both bank and private finance. The investments that are made, are normally held for the long term, but are sometimes disposed of if significant value has been gained.

The current property investment requirements, are for retail premises in good high streets and secondary locations and consideration is given to both let or vacant retail units or small parades of shops.

Darling Properties also acquires and manages a number of properties for a few private investors.
